LearnIT accredited for University of Greenwich Business Programme
Cape Town, South Africa - 09 November 2009
NCC Education is delighted to announce that LearnIT, one of its Accredited Partner Centres in Tanzania, has recently been accredited to run BA (Hons) in Business Studies, awarded by the University of Greenwich.
This expansion of LearnIT’s portfolio of programmes follows on from their success in running the BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology, awarded by the University of Greenwich (BSc BIT). Approval was granted early in 2009 and in April, the second cohort of students were recruited and registered for the BSc BIT programme.
LearnIT Tanzania now offer the full Degree Journey in business and computing, which enables students to complete their British undergraduate degree at LearnIT, with the benefits of convenience and cost saving.
Commenting on the launch of BA (Hons) in Business Studies, awarded by the University of Greenwich, Sharmilla Bhatt, Director of LearnIT said:
“Quality education is the pillar of national development and skilled manpower to serve in various sectors in the nation’s economy is in short supply. Business degrees of this type will go a long way towards providing the necessary skills for the Tanzanian economy”.
The first intake of BA (Hons) Business Studies students will take place in October 2009.
