Myanmar Academic Workshop and Seminar
South East Asia - 13 October 2009
NCC Education recently held an Academic Workshop in Myanmar attended by lecturers from three local Accredited Partner Centres, Regent Business Academy, KMD Computer Centre and Myanmar Computer Company.
Dr Gareth Evans, Dean, Academic Division and Nazlin Abdul Karim, Manager, Academic Support, oversaw proceedings and presented topics including Blooms Taxonomy, examination and marking, plagiarism and the importance of ‘soft skills’. The day was seen as extremely valuable and worthwhile, with attendees looking forward to putting their new found knowledge into practice.
On the following day, NCC Education hosted a seminar for prospective students and parents. This comprised of a general information presentation about NCC Education followed by a Q&A session. The seminar was a great success, attracting over 90 prospective students and parents.
