NCC Education Announce FREE English Placement Tests

NCC Education is delighted to announce the introduction of its new English Placement Tests (EPT), available to Accredited Partner Centres from 1st July 2009.
The tests are a quick and straightforward assessment of a student’s English language skills and, unlike IELTS and equivalent English language tests, are completely free for NCC Education students.
There are two tests available; which test to use is determined by the NCC Education programme that the student is applying to study. The two tests are categorised as follows:

Standard English Placement Test (SEPT) - for students applying for the International Foundation Year or PreMaster's programmes

Higher English Placement Test (HEPT) - for students applying for the International Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma programmes.
Both tests have two parts; part one is an online assessment and part two is conducted face-to-face. The tests are delivered at the Accredited Partner Centre and will assess a student's full range of English language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking), enabling students to identify their strengths and target any skills that need further development. Results can be processed immediately after testing to support a student's application onto an NCC Education programme.
