Access To A Global Community Through A Virtual Campus

World leading IT qualifications certification and testing body NCC Education is bringing together a global community of students and education centres through its Virtual Campus.
The NCC Education Virtual Campus at http://www.nccedu-vc.com is now open to all students studying for NCC Education qualifications and education centres delivering NCC Education courses. It was launched at the World Education Market in Portugal and at the Computer Faire exhibition in South Africa.
The Virtual Campus is a ‘Global Community’. Open 24 hours a day 7 days a week it offers students the opportunity to take advantage of the latest e-learning facilities to supplement their study and interact with their tutors and global peers. It also offers education centres the opportunity to harness online registration technology.
Commenting on the launch of the Virtual Campus Graham Yule, NCC Education’s Head of e-Business said: "Our Virtual Campus is different from existing ones. Ours is fully interactive, it enables those who use it to control its content and it is available to a community of students and education centres in more than 45 countries. This Virtual Campus facilitates the communication of ideas across continents.”
The Virtual Campus has four broad features: Chat – encompassing chatrooms, Discussion boards, e-Resources and the Academic Corner – through which students are able to access lecture notes and revision and study tips.
Each centre delivering NCC Education courses has been allocated a section of the Virtual Campus for their own use. These centres are invited to populate their dedicated areas with information directly relevant to their students such as details of exam dates and venues, news about high-achieving students, assignment deadlines and supplementary study notes.
