Website Shortlisted For Award

NCC Education is celebrating the fact that it has been shortlisted for a prestigious UK Online 2002 e-commerce award. The awards recognise and reward organisations that have demonstrated excellence through the use of the Internet.
Since its revamp began in June 2001NCC Education’s website http://www.nccedu.com has been attracting a record-breaking number of visitors with visitor and page view levels increasing by over one thousand percent. The shortlisting for this award is further indication of the quality of the NCC Education website.
The e-commerce awards are run by UK online for business and InterForum. There are four categories of awards and NCC Education has been shortlisted for the e-business award, which is awarded to businesses successfully using the Internet to improve their business.
Head of e-Business Graham Yule commented: “We are committed to ensuring that our website provides students studying our courses and centres delivering our courses with valuable information and services. We constantly update and review our website and have recently launched a Virtual Campus element.”
The introduction of the Virtual Campus element of the website is an indication of NCC Education’s commitment to providing students and education centres with valuable services. It enables the global community of NCC Education students and centres to interact via chatrooms and discussion boards, enables centres to register students for courses online and enables students to download assignment papers, revision tips and supplementary notes.
The NCC Education website also hosts up to date, relevant and interesting information for NCC Education students and centres delivering NCC Education courses. The most popular sections of the website are the news pages – including the monthly online newsletter - ‘The Knowledge’, exam and revision tips pages and centre and course information pages.
