Virtual Launch Of A Global Community

Event: NCC Education Launch Party
NCC Education, a globally respected IT qualifications certification and testing body, today launched its Virtual Campus and a range of new stand-alone online IT courses. The launch was marked by a presentation, online practical session and cocktail party.
NCC Education has always been at the forefront of global IT education. The launch of the Virtual Campus and new online courses sees the company continuing to build on this heritage.
David Pottinger, NCC Education’s Managing Director, revealed that the Virtual Campus will be available to all NCC Education students and hosts a range of study enhancement and community building features.
The Virtual Campus has four broad interactive features: Chat – encompassing chatrooms, Discussion boards, e-Resources – providing links to other useful websites, and the Academic Corner – through which students are able to access lecture notes and revision and study tips.
At the launch event Mr Pottinger also revealed that the new range of online courses will enable education centres to take advantage of the flexibility and increasing popularity of e-learning with minimum resource investment. He explained that these new courses teach the latest IT skills and are studied for entirely online.
NCC Education announced that it is now seeking to form partnerships with education centres to administer these courses. Education centres will receive a fee from NCC Education in return for simply registering students and invigilating examinations.

We were looking to communicate the benefits of the Virtual Campus and new range of online courses to education centres delivering international qualifications and to industry influencers such as education ministers. Universities in the UK, USA, Australia and South Africa accept holders of NCC Education qualifications onto their degree courses, many grant these students advanced entry onto their courses enabling them to gain direct entry onto the second and even third year of a degree.
