1 Q: I have lost my certificates and need to order another copy.

A:
All certificates may be replaced at a cost of £40 per set (Full Diploma and Record of Achievement). Full payment and your details must be sent to Customer Services at NCC Education UK, replacement certificates will be sent to you as soon as payment is received.

2 Q: I have a problem with my results, who can I contact?

A:
If you would like to make an official appeal, please contact your Accredited Partner Centre directly, they will inform you of the process and of the payment information.

3 Q: I have not yet received my certificate.

A:
Certificates will be despatched by NCC Education within 3 weeks after release of examination results. If you have not received your certificates after this time, please ask your Accredited Partner Centre to contact us.

4 Q: What is the grading structure that NCC Education uses?

A:
Pass, Merit (formerly Credit), Distinction and Referral

5 Q: When will my results be released?

A:
NCC Education releases examination results approximately 8 weeks after the exams have started. NCC Education will make an official announcement if results will not be ready in time for this deadline. All results will be sent directly to the Accredited Partner Centre for distribution to the candidates.

6 Q: When will the results be on the website?

A:
All results will be published on the Virtual Campus as soon as possible after they are released to the Accredited Partner Centre. These results will not be complete and will only show a pass or referral, not the complete overall grade.

7 Q: I would like to re-sit a module I have failed, how can I do this?

A:
Please contact your centre directly, as this request as well as your payment must come directly from the Accredited Partner Centre.

8 Q: I need a copy of the ------- syllabus.

A:
Syllabi for all NCC Education qualifications can be downloaded from the relevant qualification description section located in the 'Qualifications' sub-index.

9 Q: My centre has not given me my study materials.

A:
All Accredited Partner Centres are responsible for distributing the relevant qualification materials to their registered candidates. Please contact your centre directly with this query.

10 Q: I would like to download copies of the past papers/marking schemes, where can I do this?

A:
Past papers can be downloaded freely from the Virtual Campus by all candidates registered with NCC Education. You may only download marking schemes after paying the small fee to the web bursar for each session.

11 Q: I need to have a transcript of my results sent to the university which I am applying to.

A:
Please send all candidate details via email to NCC Education. A transcript of your results will then be sent to your chosen university.

12 Q: I would like to transfer from my current centre to one in another country, how do I do this?

A:
The centre that you would like to transfer to needs to send this request to us in writing. There is no fee for this transfer and all your results will be carried over to your new centre.

13 Q: I need further information on the ---- qualification.

A:
All information regarding every NCC Education qualification can be found on the relevant section on our website under the 'Qualifications' sub-index.

14 Q: I have completed a qualification in another country, how can I apply for exemptions for the NCC Ed programmes?

A:
Your centre will need to supply this request in writing with copies of all details of your previous qualifications, such as syllabi and any certificates issued. In some cases we may already be aware of programmes where exemptions can be given, in these cases, the process should be very short and simple.

15 Q: I stopped studying the ---- qualification 3 years ago, but I need to complete another module, what can I do?

A:
Unfortunately we do not allow candidates to carry on studying any NCC Education programmes after their period of eligibility has ended. You will need to re-register as a new candidates and begin the programmes again.

16 Q: What qualifications do NCC Education offer?

A:
NCC Education develop and award offer a wide range of qualifications in Business and IT leading to degrees and masters awarded by UK universities. NCC Education provides students a new route to obtain international degrees in a more economic and affordable approach.

17 Q: What are the benefits of studying for an NCC Education?

A:

NCC Education qualifications:

  • Offer flexibility with multiple entry routes and a certificate awarded after each stage.
  • Are an excellent blend of academic and vocational elements, developing students’ academic knowledge as well as practical skills, which they can quickly apply to the workplace.
  • In IT are generic and vendor free certificates.

18 Q: What level are NCC Education qualifications equivalent to in China?

A:
The academic level ‘International Advanced Diploma’ is equivalent to Da Zhuan in China and Year 2 of undergraduate programmes in the British education system.

19 Q: How many students take NCC Education qualifications per year?

A:
Over 1 million NCC Education alumni and over 200,000 students from all over the world study at NCC Education Centres every year.

20 Q: What are the features of NCC Education qualification training?

A:
All text books, syllabi and studying materials are in English, which are exactly the same as those being used in other NCC Education Centres around the world. All modules consist of lectures, self study, course work and project work to ensure that students can apply what they learn to the best practice.

21 Q: Who are NCC Education qualifications open to?

A:
NCC Education qualifications are open to school students, senior middle school graduates, Chinese diploma holders and even working professionals, depending on the level of qualification you would like to study.

22 Q: How is the study of International Degree Pathway organised? How long does it take?

A:

NCC Education qualifications:

  • 1st year - Diploma.
  • 2nd year - Advanced Diploma.
  • 3rd year top-up final year - BA/BSc (Hons).
  • Students may also study part time.

23 Q: How are students assessed?

A:
Students are assessed in English by course work, local exams, global exams and practical projects. Course work and exams are marked and moderated by NCC Education at four levels: Referral, Pass, Credit, and Distinction. Students who achieve 45% will get ‘Pass’.

24 Q: Do the certificates issued in China have the same weight as NCC Education certificates issued in other countries?

A:
The certificates issued in China have exactly the same value as those issued in other countries due to the NCC Education global exam and moderation system.

25 Q: What is the value of the Bachelors Degree from an overseas university obtained via NCC Education, compared with one obtained via 3 years on campus study?

A:
NCC Education students get the certificate of Bachelors (Hons) Degree from the university, which is exactly the same as students can get from three years study on campus.

26 Q: How is the quality assured in NCC Education Accredited Partner Centres?

A:
NCC Education is accredited by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England and is subject to monitoring by Ofqual. Our mainstream programmes are accredited to the English National Qualifications Framework (NQF) levels 4, 5 and 7. Our procedures have been inspected by Ofqual and we are required to comply with statutory quality assurance requirements throughout the world. We are also accredited by numerous UK universities to offer their degrees and are a 'Listed Body' on the UK Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) website.

27 Q: What happens if students do not pass?

A:
Students can take a resit if they fail in one or more of the modules and they can still graduate after they successfully pass all modules.

28 Q: I would like to apply for a scholarship for NCC Education.

A:
Unfortunately NCC Education does not offer any scholarships to candidates studying our programmes.

29 Q: I would like to study at NCC Education in Manchester, how can I apply?

A:
NCC Education in Manchester is the head office of NCC Education Worldwide. We do not run any programmes from this office, all of our programmes are conducted by Accredited Partner Centres world-wide.
